Moses Kamookak is a Gjoa Haven carver with a predisposition for small scenes depicting Inuit life or vignettes, 

The carved stone is finely detailed and the bone accessories like the fishing gear and fish swimming in the stream are charming.

The stone is a deep bronze brown colour. It almost looks like metal.

All collections should contain vignette carvings. They document the Inuit life style both now and in the past.
