Provenance, June 2025: Sadly, in 2019, Pavinak took his own life. He was a pillar of the  Inuit art community. His SIGNATURE carvings were his gently and jolly CARIBOU.
Six years after his death, these glorious Birds will probably be the last Petaulassie carvings that you will see outside the Auction houses.

IN TANDEM is a precious depiction of the bonds that unite us all; birds, mammals and humans.
