**Note: We strongly recommend that you pair Dog Man with his best Friend - Mr. Cat Man.

5" Cat Man by Pits Qimirpik

Not only will it add considerable value and provenance, but these two would like it best this way as they are inseparable kindred spirits.

This is one of our favorite pieces currently in the Gallery!

Dog man is being his Alpha dog self as he leads the way to school. His friend, Cat man trails behind but in true feline fashion, he has no doubt he is the leader of the pair!

Pits is a gifted sculptor with vision but also a brilliant craftsman. He thrives on pushing the envelope.

His Inuk with a MP3 player and his Inuk playing basketball ( which we have in the gallery) are sought after as exceptional representatives of modern Inuit art.

Every complete Inuit art collection must include at least one of Pits’ carvings.

I am always proud to have Pits’ sculptures in my gallery and I have several of his pieces in my private collection.

Dog man has a strong spirit and his detail is beautiful.

Pitseolaq Qimirpik is a young carver from Cape Dorset (born in 1986). Famous artist Kellypalik Qimirpik is his father.

Pits enjoys carving different subjects (dancing bears, muskoxen, people), but he is most famous for his dancing arctic hares that are always full of life and joy.
