Humans are fascinated with all things small: dolls, figurines, ornaments, sculptures etc.

This four inch sculpture is such a piece.

Peter has lovingly created a sculpture that challenges our perceptions.

Without any knowledge of the piece, would you know that this was an Inuit carving?

Could it be African or from the Easter Islands? Or maybe the South Pacific?

Even the posture is ambiguous.

This is not a human posture.  It is more suggestive of a canine in repose like the Egyptian Sphinx.

Fascinating.
