An upright black fox with orange paws!

Only the imagination of Pits Qimirpik could have dreamed this sculpture.

Pits' hares and dogs are sought after for their quirkiness.

Toronto Dominion Bank has one of Pits' hares in their permanent Indigenous Art Collection.

Don't you love this creature?

The jet black stone glimmers and sparkles under the lights.

He holds out his orange paws as if he just accidently dipped them in paint!

And he looks so chagrined; as if he just can't understand his predicament.

Who of us hasn't felt that way from time to time?

Most Inuit carvers would have positioned their fox on all four legs.

This fox is a prime example of why Qimirpik is not only a brilliant craftsman but a gifted sculptor with amazing vision and creativity.

Do you have a Pits Qimirpik carving in your collection?
