Masterpiece Sculpture!  Museum quality Piece!

Do you realize that you are part of a distinguished membership?

If you are reading this description, I assume that Jimmy Iqaluq's Walrus has caught your eye.

And in catching your eye, you have taken your first step in becoming a fan of Jimmy Iqaluq.

Or maybe you were already an afficionado?

I have a specific group of clients who hold Jimmy"s artistic vision in high regard. They have a voracious appetite for any Iqaluq carving that comes into the studio.  Jimmy has that effect on people.

I met Jimmy over 20 years ago during a blizzard that grounded my plane in Sanikiluaq.

He was the first Inuit carver to sell me one of his pieces. It was the most exquisite loon with red eyes (one of his signature features).

When I started my Inuit art gallery, I made Jimmy's loon my logo in appreciation of his kindness to me.

Jimmy is a quiet, understated Master Carver.

To me, everything Jimmy touches, turns to gold.

All of his pieces are distinct.

Taking the Red Eye is an example of his unmistakable style.

Have you ever seen a Walrus sculpture with whiskers, and a hide that is rippled like the ocean floor?

Oh, yes!  AND the red eyes.
