I think that the most powerful feature of this Josephie sculpture is the look of glee and pride on this bear's face!

He has caught a large slippery fish.. This is not easy.

The bear's eyes are wide and bright. He actually looks like he is smiling with self satisfaction.

It is lunchtime!

I have had the honour of acquiring several Lyta Josephie Walking bears. Many of the bear are avid fishermen.

Lyta is a meticulous artist and his ability to carve emotions in this bear's face is amazing.

Additionally, he is a magician when it comes to "customizing" his sculptures by selecting the perfect colour and texture of stone for the piece.

This is an exquisite carving.
