Kekneck’s intriguingly quirky two headed transformation piece is composed of an array of beautiful coppers and greys.  The inlayed eyes reflect drama and mystery. The creature carries the second head like a shield, using it to intimidate evil spirits and hungry animals alike.

Kekneck often carves deep repeating lines into his carvings which creates ridges that  give the piece a three dimensional look. To see this effect, look at the back of this piece.

The more I look at this piece the more I realize its complexity.

From behind, the carving has the appearance of a toddler, feet spread apart (just like a child who is learning to walk)  carrying a sack! From the side, the creature becomes a small warrior brandishing his shield.

Kekneck is a gifted artist.  His pieces must find their way into your Inuit art collection.  They will bring joy to you and fascinate your guests.
