**Pitseolak Qimirpik SIGNATURE Owl carving

Masterpiece Carving!

I cannot stress to you enough how magnificent this bejeweled green Owl is.

The stone radiates light and energy as if the sun were living inside the heart of this glorious raptor.

This Owl is Pits' signature sculpture.

You really cannot have a complete Inuit art collection without at least one of these Owls.

Look at the facial features; the open mouth and the tongue that appears to have been carved as separate pieces and then inserted.

How does Pits do that? It seems impossible.

What I love about this particular bird, is the light gray lines that adorn the body of the Owl.  The lines cascade over the feathers like water.  It is as if the bird was caught in the middle of a summer rain storm.

He seems completely nonplussed by the storm.

I can't recall seeing this type of marbling in Pits' owls in the past.

When you see this owl carving, you immediately recognize it as being a Pits Qimirpik sculpture. THAT'S how iconic Pits' owls have become.

Pits is an international Superstar.

His pieces are displayed in art galleries and museums around the world.

I never tire of these owls.  Each one has its own heart and its own bold personality.
