**Sam Qiatsuk SIGNATURE Owl carving

Sam's owls are evolving into his signature carvings.

The raptors hold their wings up proudly in a vertical fashion over their heads.

He decorates the edges of each wing with chunky feathers, that look at bit like spread fingers.

Sam's rendering of the eyes is stunning.

The inlaid eyes are usually wide, white and round.

But this small sweet raptor has larger eyes and they are eliptical not round.

The effect is that the owl looks like a young owlet, a little unsure of himself but determined to jump off that tree!

BUT, it's the apple green marble that elevates this owl from delightful to spectacular.

Large pools of white marble alternating with linear veins of white endow this piece with that WOW factor.

I love this stone!

For those of you who love small sculptures (who doesn't) this is an amazing one of a kind sculptures that will delight you for years to come.
