Curator's Note
** Paul Bruneau is an Ojibway native and a member of the Mattagami First Nations Reserve. During the first two years of Covid, Paul took a break from carving. He is back and carving what I believe are the most fascinating Inukshuks in the world.

 From the moment that Paul first introduced me to his Inukshuks, I saw them as beings from another world.  Quite literally.

Sometimes, they appear to be slowly plodding across the earth's surface as if they are here for the first time.

Back to Back is a fascinating art piece.

The "front" view shows Back to Back's face in a dark green colour with gold highlighting the edges.

But turn him around, and now Back to Back's face is an unbelievably beautiful tangerine rust colo

And as a piece de resistance, on this side of the Inukshuk, his feet are a brilliant gold colour.
