Magnificent Colour!

Are all bear carvings the same?

What makes one more alluring than the other?

This is a diving bear standing on both his front paws in a hand stand.

I love how his feet are pulled up and his very ample rump are held high in the air.

This top heavy posture shows off Kelly's skill in carving a dancing bear.  How difficult do you think this would be to carve this amazing bear and not have it top over?!!!

But this feature that rivals the position of the bear is the astounding colour of the stone!

The deep dark green and the contrasting orange lights this piece on fire!

Brilliant!

Kelly has carved a stunning bear which is unpretentious with an old-fashioned look that is very attractive.
