Masterpiece Carving! Magnificent Movement!

Harrison Jr. Miklahook is a well respected carver from Alaska.

Harrison uses whale bone, baleen, and muskox horn to carve his magnificent whale sculptures.

Baleen are strips of fibrous tissue that filter food like teeth. Fins are also formed by pieces of baleen.

This whale sculpture is one of the most maganificent whales I have seen in my time as a curator of Inuit art.

This stunning whale is incredibly detailed.  The tail fin is inserted into the body like a puzzle piece.

The tail and fins are delicate, and the facial features are beyond beautiful.

This is one of those pieces that is energetic which means it appears to always be moving.

This sculpture is carved using muskox horn.

Stunningly beautiful!!!!

This whale will be the superstar in your collection.
