Delta's neck is almost 90 degrees to his body.
The sharp tip of his beak is pointed directly up to the sky.
This head position shows how Ning's carving is proportionally perfect; the sides of Delta's head are completely symmetrical.
Keep in mind, that these loons are very slim and the necks and heads in particular are very easily broken during the carving process.
Just like caribou legs!
Delta has the peaceful grace of all Ning's loons.
